Rob Steinberg, Chairman of Steinberg Hart, grew up in the Valley of Hearts Delight long before it became known as Silicon Valley. Rob, who began his professional career as a filmmaker, is a third-generation architect whose San Jose, CA, firm was founded by his father. The firm has been involved with numerous buildings in San Jose including the Mineta San Jose International Airport, San Jose City Hall, the historic Santa Clara County Courthouse and The Tech Museum of Innovation. The firm, with offices throughout the US and in China, focuses on civic, education, and urban mixed-use architecture. Rob is a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects, a Governor for The Urban Land Institute and a Regional Executive Board Member and founding Board Chair for SPUR San Jose, a Bay Area Urban Policy think tank.
