The next Urban Confluence competition jury member we’d like to profile is Jerry van Eyck of !melk, an award-winning urban design and landscape architecture practice dedicated to large master plans and landscape interventions in the urban context. Based in New York, !melk is currently designing The Park in Las Vegas, the Mercedes Campus Expansion in Stuttgart, and Pier 57 in New York. The practice just received an International Design Award for Tyufeleva Roshcha Park and was selected to design the Yangtze River Waterfront. Jerry trained as a landscape architect and industrial designer and encourages landscape to fit into the larger context of a city’s fabric and the urban experience.
